Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
I worked for months, working 12- hour days cleaning floors and tear down wallpaper the baby on my back, and others crawling in the playpen. Ha! The home was starting to appear nice, however there was a lot that needed to be left. For furnishing the space, it was going to be an enormous undertaking both in time and money. I would also have to go out and shop for my most-loved items. My sons, my husband and I were looking for the hidden treasures going to estate sales in order to help ensure that my spending was under control. Each week we would spend Thursday to Saturday at garage sales and estate sales buying brand new furniture. Then I repainted and smoothed in the driveway in the week. My passion for restoration of furniture began with a look like this. Although our house was furnished, I could not quit. Markets in town had room for me to sell pieces. There were numerous pieces that I did not have a clue what to do with them and my storage space was a mess. My home was where I began hosting open houses in which more than 1000 people could come in and buy any item they wanted on the first floor over the course of a weekend. My business Growing Days began here. Growing Days was not only an incredibly successful business, but as well my family. In a way, I found the ideal way to balance being a mom and launching my venture. Growing Days just seemed to fit. My beautiful Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth child. The direction of my business was excellent, however I had to rest for a while. I decided to quit doing work on my furniture for a while and be at home with the children. This was just what I needed. Within a couple of months, the phone began to ring. I started receiving calls from people asking me for assistance with home improvements and design of interiors. Most of these people were people who had been through my property during open house for furniture! I started taking on some clients at a time taking my time but it didn't take time before I was running numerous accounts and had the complete business of home remodeling. Had you told me my business would be an idea for the DIY Network show, I might have thought you were crazy. In fact, I do amused when I think of the idea.
