In the following days, a plethora of students around the globe joined her #FridaysforFuture strikes skipping school on Fridays in protest of climate change. Climate activists across the globe coordinated their efforts to organize the Global Strike for Climate. The event was an enormous success. 1.6 Million people in more than 125 countries took part.
