Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 at Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer and farmer, was the very first Roberts who settled in Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he started to be interested in the theater. While a student at Emory University in 1952 he participated in plays on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. He was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was a student at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they left the airforce and Walter started his education at Tulane. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they themselves funded. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it was in operation for six years. In the meantime, they had two more children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
